Class Experience

The idea of this program is to offer home schooled children a half-day experience that incorporates creative projects, social connections, play-based experiences and movement. Children have time and space to explore interpersonal relationships, as well as connect to themselves through quiet, creative spaces. We work on numerous projects as a group, individual projects and expressive art activities. In addition, we work to support children with diverse capabilities and needs, honoring each child as a unique individual through their growth and learning at the studio.

Class Requirements

  • No requirements are needed for this class - we welcome every child with their creativity and social needs!

Sample Class Format

Our HS groups are tiny once-a-week art family meetings where everybody is respectful, helpful and ready to create together, though while working in a group setting, our students work on individual projects. We cherish a small group setting where everybody has room to be themselves and learn from each other.
