SATURDAY CLASSES

We offer two Saturday classes for different age groups:

• 10 - 12pm for 10. and under

• 12:30 - 2:30pm for 10and up

Class Experience

• At Sunflower we support students throughout the process of choosing an art project and completing a full painting (or drawing) with the understanding that each individual student works at their own pace and skill level. 

• We offer visual inspiration, explain different techniques and foster love of the arts and art history. Students are being encouraged to work on creative projects that spark their passions, so they can feel successful and accomplished. 

• While working in a group setting, our students get to explore their own creativity with the help of our knowledgeable and wonderful teachers.

Class Requirements

• You don't have to bring any art supplies unless kids have their favorite supplies at home that they would like to use. 

• Optional: bring a small snack and water bottle.

What you'll learn

• In this class our students learn art skills without even knowing that. While working on a project of their choice or project suggested by a teacher students learn everything from composition to form and shape, coloring methods, shading, perspective and many other useful tricks and tips. 

Sample Class Format

• We work in small groups while each students recieves individual instruction and help from our instructors.
